About Us

Bencar Building Systems was created in Wallingford in 1999 by Mark and Nancy Benson. Their goal is to give homeowners a positive remodeling experience using their detailed Remodel Process. This process helps homeowners with decision making and trade partners with estimate pricing. Bencar has grown to six field employees and the office now includes Mark, Nancy, their son Cody as estimator, and an office assistant.
In 2015 they were selected as one of 50 business owners to Remodeling Magazine's Big50 class. They continue to receive Best of Houzz awards for Customer Service, as well as Readers Choice and Best of Awards for Home Remodeler and Home Contractor through the Meriden Record-Journal.
